they were so unreasonable we should have strong ground
for protest.
We still fool that on the insurance question, so far
as we understand it, the Americans have no real ground for
complaint but we should not feel called upon to object
to the termination of the privileged position of British
insurance companies if the Colonial office thought fit
to end it. It is their affair.
